Is Quantum Speed Reading Possible?

Quantum speed reading (QSR), also called wave reading or hado reading, is a revolutionary new reading technique that enables readers to read much faster and comprehend faster than their usual reading speed.

The method claims to work simply by touching, smelling, listening, and flipping through the pages of the book, enabling the reader to comprehend the information within the text at once, thus speeding up the process of reading.

With so much to read and learn, this new approach has caught the attention of students, professionals, and educational institutions globally that are interested in learning this technique or want to teach this concept to equip themselves or students.

The quantum speed reading concept has been around for some time and is said to be one of the fastest ways to read any document. However, there are still many people who are skeptical about the concept. Hence they wonder if the method works.

In this piece, we will discuss some quick facts about what quantum speed reading is, how it works, and its origin, and share some tips to help you become a quantum speed reader.

Let’s get started!

What is quantum speed reading and how it works?

Speed reading is a technique for reading text faster. It is an art and science that has been practiced for many years. Various approaches can be used to speed up the process of reading. One such technique is Quantum Speed Reading.

Quantum speed reading (QSR) is a newly discovered approach for quickly reading and extracting information from books without pausing to glance at the words on the pages.

Is this possible, and if it is, how does it work, you may ask?

As unbelievable as it might sound to most people and maybe even to you who might have only ever read books one page at a time, people can read books at incredible speed.

There are numerous speed reading techniques that have been discovered and taught; however, among all speed reading techniques, quantum speed reading is the only method that does not require you to open the book.

The reader holds the book in their face and rapidly flips the pages with their thumb, much like when preparing to shuffle playing cards. Hence, it represents an absolute revolution in education.

Origins of quantum speed reading

Quantum speed reading as a technique originated 5,000 years ago during the era of Mahabharata. Still, it was not until recently, about 40 years ago, it was officially termed quantum speed reading by Yumiko Tobitani.

According to her, one day, as a teacher at Tokyo’s Shichida Child Academy in Japan, she instructed her student to flick through the pages of a book thirty times. They were to flick through the pages using two approaches, first flicking through the pages fast and then slowly.

After a while, each kid returned to their desk after they were done with the exercise. However, there was one kid who lingered.

Ms. Tobitani observed that the boy appeared to be deeply engaged in the book and thought, “Oh well, I’ll just leave him to carry on.”

Shortly after she said this, the kid returned to his seat and said, “That was really fun.”

When kids exhibit some kind of change in their speech or behavior, Yumiko typically tries to listen to them. So she asked this specific student what was going on.

The eight-year-old kid said he saw images appear from the pages as he flipped through and understood everything in the book. This astounding reply led to the creation of quantum speed reading QSR.

Yumiko, who has extensive training in non-linear learning, immediately realized this child was using his right brain’s imagery. The right brain is profoundly associated with speed. So when a book is flipped through at high speed, the words transform into visuals and appear as pictures. Naturally, the other children were in awe.

She decided to have some other kids have a try at it. All the kids flipped through the pages just as the boy who saw the images did. Amazingly all of the kids who tried it saw images appear.

The rationale here is that the right brain can convey information in an understandable way. This process is called resonance.

Consequently, when individuals desire to learn or see it, this ability gets transmitted to everyone with the desire as a resonating vibration.

As a result, a completely new method of reading books called “Quantum Speed Reading” by Yumiko Tobitani was created.

How to train to master quantum speed reading

The speed at which one reads primarily depends on how fast you can move your eyes across the page and how quickly you can decipher individual words and letters. However, when it comes to quantum speed reading, a different approach is required.

For you to master quantum speed reading so that you can rapidly absorb information from any book, your right brain has to be trained.

Your right brain functions, such as spatial abilities, imagination, visual awareness, emotions, face recognition, social cues, music awareness, 3D forms, and left-hand control, must be activated.

The tips below will explain how to train to master the quantum speed reading technique without losing comprehension or understanding.

Prepare your attitudes, beliefs, and commitment (ABCs)

Quantum speed reading is based on the idea of being able to read many pages at once because it’s all about speed. Therefore, it’s essential to be positive and believe in yourself when you start practicing this technique because if you don’t believe in it or think it will work for you, then chances are it won’t work.

It would help if you also created a positive learning environment while preparing to practice QSR. Ensure that your environment is properly lit so your eyes and brain can focus on the task. You should also make sure that you have enough time for your practice sessions.

Get into the Alpha state

The first step towards mastering quantum speed reading is learning how to get into an alpha state of relaxed concentration, and a way you can achieve this state of being is through meditation or yoga.

The idea behind the quantum speed reading (QSR) technique is that you can learn to read faster and more efficiently by getting into an alpha state of relaxed concentration where your brain waves are at their most active level.

Once you have achieved this state of relaxed concentration, you are ready for the next step of “quantum speed reading.”

Super Scanning is a technique that can be used to train your brain to read at quantum speed. The system is based on the idea of exposing your eyes and brain to the page content using the skimming technique.

To practice super scanning, you can read through your reading material very quickly, giving minimal attention to detail. You’ll do this for about 30 seconds, then spend another 30 seconds reviewing what you’ve just read.

The goal of super scanning is to get enough information in your head that you can recall later without having to go over it again. This technique will help boost your reading speed and comprehension.

Once you are done scanning, start the reading material from the beginning again. You can use systems such as hand pacing to run your finger along the words on the page, which helps keep your eyes focused on the material and helps you double your reading speed.

The last tip for training to master quantum speed reading that we have for you is to take time to review what you’ve just read.

Take at least 5 minutes so that it sticks. You can do this by mind-mapping, taking notes, or telling yourself or a colleague what you’ve read.

Speed reading enables you to read faster than if you were to read normally. It is not a new concept and has been around since the 1950s.

Quantum speed reading is an advanced technique claiming that, once mastered, it can help you read as much as 100,000 words in 5 minutes.

The technique can be difficult to master and requires you to rapidly flip through the pages of a document in a way similar to our speed reading tool but much different from the typical speed reading techniques. We decided to talk about it since many of the techniques required for learning quantum speed reading overlap with what we teach at Iris Reading speed reading and memory classes.

Whether you are a student or a professional, our speed reading classes will enhance your reading skill and improve your productivity, as it has done for many other students and professionals.

You will see your ability to comprehend and remember information longer improve. Our training program also helps train your left brain and right, which is required for quantum speed reading.

Enroll in the Iris Reading speed reading course and begin your journey to mastering speed reading so you can be more productive, covering more material in less time.
